Stop where you are. Look up from your computer or device and rest your eyes on the first thing that captures your attention. Is it a tree? Is it a chair? A friend? Whatever it is, pause. Consider what it is that this thing/being adds to your world. If it is a pillow, maybe it’s got beautiful colors to admire and textures to touch; a place to rest your head. What quality adds to your life. Breathe in and receive that quality. 

What quality or action can you give back for what it is you receive? Could you pass on your admiration of it to someone else, so they will notice and appreciate? If it is a person, could you thank/tip/do a favor for them for what they give to you? Could you pass them your favorite piece of scripture, or a beautiful poem? Could you tell someone else about their work? Could you make them a meal? If it’s the funkiest cluster of flowers on a trail, could you take a photo and share it? Breathe out, exhaling that thing that you’d like to share as a commitment or a gift.

Do you feel resistance to giving? Do you feel resistance to receiving? This is one way to "know" about our Selves. We often embody what we know, and noticing how we FEEL (vs. what our brains think we know) about something is how we learn about our own nature.

It’s Spring, my friends! Time to be back outdoors and and watch the abundant life unfold. Notice how nature gives and receives effortlessly.

I look forward to seeing you at the many happenings led by Breathe Yoga & Wellness’s beautiful group of yoga, meditation, and wellness teachers. I Let us all meet and practice together! ’m feeling so much gratitude this season for my own teachers who have guided me to giving and receiving. These teachers most definitely include our students and my own private clients. THANK YOU for so many seasons of abundance!!!!

Intro to Kundalini

Teacher Shelli Welch weaves in powerful self knowledge and inspiration in every class. This powerful practice will leave you feeling integrated, calm, clear and utterly energized. Brand New to Yoga Workshop
Saturday, May 19, 2018, 11am - 1pm
This is a 2-hour workshop is for beginning yoga students who want to learn the practice of yoga. The instructor will progressively take the class from very basic yoga postures to standing and moving in a slow flow movement, linking movement with breath. This workshop will help give new students the tools needed to easily move towards a mixed-levels class with confidence.
