Dear TJCOG Member,

We are extremely excited to announce that the TJCOG  Livability Self-Assessment and Toolkit for Communities is now available for members only

This great resource was created as a joint effort by our Aging and Planning staff to address livability issues for older adults & other vulnerable residents. It is intended to help communities start a conversation about livability challenges.  Through the assessment, communities can evaluate themselves on a series of topics related to livability, including demographics, housing, transportation, safety, health care, supportive services, general retail, and social integration.

The answers will highlight where improvements can be made and the toolkit offers ideas on how to change policies, practices, and infrastructure to foster a more livable community for older adults, and all residents.

To learn more about the tool & how it can help you, contact Julia Katz at [email protected].

Keep a lookout for updates on the Pilot Implementation of the Assessment & Toolkit with our member town Smithfield (see details below).
