The WLIC online store gives producers several options for purchasing the WI-Origin™ tags, including choice of style, color, and price. Other preferences include a selection of both RFID (radio frequency identification), or non-RFID tags.

WLIC is competitively priced and all proceeds will be used to fund our programs and services. In addition, Allflex, USA, provides WLIC with a 10-cent rebate for every Wisconsin-branded tag sold.

Dr. Lynn Schultz DVM, Board Secretary

Dr. Schultz has been a part of WLIC since 2016. Currently residing in Waterloo, Schultz is a Semi- Retired large Animal Veterinarian. Dr. Schultz graduated from the University Of Minnesota College Of Veterinary Medicine in 1978 and has served Wisconsin Livestock agriculture in various Veterinary medical occupations since that time.

Dr. Schultz views traceability as a means that allows us to isolate, eliminate and prevent the spread of livestock diseases to prevent animal suffering, protect surrounding livestock populations, protect the economic viability of WI (& the nation’s) livestock production agriculture. It also helps us verify to domestic and export consumer markets clear visibility / transparency of healthy livestock origin products.
