We live in a busy age, we always have something to do to keep ourselves busy. Making an appointment can sometimes be a frustrating and painstaking challenge, working to get two impossible schedules working together. That's why Be Well Chiropractic has listened to your complaints, Be Well Chiropractic is now offering flexible summer hours. If you don't have time to make it in for whatever reason, we'll meet the needs of your schedule!

Stay Healthy in the Summer with Be Well Chiropractic!
Whether its going out to the water park with your family and friends or going on a relaxing bike ride, staying healthy in the summer is important in these times of activity! Be Well Chiropractic is here to make sure that your back and spine are as healthy as can be so you can spend the summer having fun out in the sun!
Here are just a few tips you can practice to make sure that your summer is fun and exciting, while still healthy and pain free!
Stay Hydrated this Summer!
Proper hydration is crucial, which is why we constantly hear that people should be drinking 8-9 cups of water a day. However, what we may not hear as much is that most of that liquid water runs right through us. That's just its nature - it either will sit on top of the contents of our stomachs or be processed as quickly as possible.
Because of the importance of hydration through foods, there are three foods that come to mind that both nourish our bodies and hydrate - apples, celery and citrus fruits. Eating these either with water or before drinking can also help your body retain the hydration it needs before everything is flushed out. With proper hydration will come a better circulation, quicker expulsion of toxins, and better absorption of foods. It also means feeling better and having clearer mental functioning!
Don't Forget the Sunscreen!
Sunburns aren't fun, and they can have serious health risks after long exposure to the sun! If you're chilling by the pool or going hiking, make sure to pack that sunscreen!
Stay Ergonomic!
Sometimes, all you want to do in the summer is stay indoors and read a good book, there's nothing wrong with that! Sometimes a day inside is what everybody needs from time to time! Make sure to stay ergonomic and active even inside, it can really make all the difference!
- Get up and move around! Make sure that you stand up and walk around from time to time to keep your blood flowing! Every hour or so just make sure to stand up and maybe walk around the house. You'd be surprised how doing this simple little trick helps keep you and your muscles in top performance!
- Invest in an ergonomic keyboard and chair. Getting a chair and keyboard that are best suited to your body type and typing style can make a massive difference in your productivity and general well being. You'll find your hands much less fatigued after a day of work in front of the computer! Dr. Jason Ellis can help you find the best chairs and keyboards to keep you in tip top shape.
Get an appointment and get a professional chiropractic readjustment. Even a one hour appointment can make all the difference for the rest of the summer!
