Parenting Supports 
New Play & Learn Group in Dayton  
The 4C Play & Learn Program is expanding to Dayton Metro region beginning March 17!  The new Dayton group will meet at the Trotwood Branch of the Dayton Metro Library on the first and third Friday of every month from 9:30 to 11 a.m. These FREE sessions are a great learning resource for those caring for children of family, friends or neighbors, for stay-at-home parents----and the children they care for!

New Ohio Concealed Carry Law Goes Into Effect March 1  
Recently the Ohio legislature passed a law allowing individuals with a concealed carry license to carry weapons into child care businesses, on college campuses and in public areas of airports. The law is set to go into effect in March. Families using licensed child care may want to seek information from their providers regarding plans to address or adhere to this new Ohio law.

Miami Valley Leave No Child Inside Summit
Connect kids with nature and discover the benefits of unstructured outdoor play at the Leave No Child Inside Summit on Saturday, March 11 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m at Wegerzyn Garden Metropark. Admission is free. Lunches can be ordered or you can bring your own. Registration is required.

Family Game Night in Owensville
Family Game Night: Pioneer Fun will be held at the Clermont County Owensville Branch Library on Tuesday, March 14 at 6:30 p.m. Games will include sack races, hoop rolling, marbles and more. Refreshments will be served. Call 732-6084 or RSVP online.

Super Science Saturday: March Math-ness
Learn more about the universal language of math at a free event at the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery in Dayton. The numbers-filled day will feature astronomy, hands-on science, live animal encounters and a math-centric look at the Collections vault.

Lego Mania
Have fun making crazy creations with Legos and Duplos at the Boone County Public Library Scheben Branch on Friday, March 10 from 1-2 p.m.! Registration requested.

Day of Puppetry
Celebrate the World Day of Puppetry at Happen, Inc., in Cincinnati! Enjoy pancakes and watch puppet videos, short puppet acts and also see puppets on display. The event is free.
