ABTA LifeLine’s 30th anniversary is fast approaching and to mark the occasion there will be several fundraising initiatives at this year's Travel Convention. Here are ways you can get involved to help support travel industry colleagues in times of need. 
£1 Per Employee Appeal
Show your support by joining our £1 per employee appeal.

Simply donate £1 for every employee within your organisation and we will acknowledge your pledge on stage during The Travel Convention in the Azores! 

No matter how big or small your company, each pound counts and can make a significant difference.

Sign up to 'Ride for your LifeLine'
There is no better way to take in the stunning landscape and beautiful coastlines of São Miguel Island than during the ABTA LifeLine cycle ride.

Tickets are just £26 and include bike and helmet hire, as well as a delicious tapas lunch courtesy of Avis Budget. All proceeds from the bike ride will go to the charity fund.

The FABTA LifeLine Cup
Sign up to take part in this year’s Convention Football Match, sponsored and organised by White Hart Associates and Travel Trade Consultancy .

The match, which will see both teams battle it out to win the FABTA LifeLine Cup, takes place on Monday 9 October from 16:30 at the Santa Clara Stadium. Spectators are welcome.

Bid in our Auction at the Travelport Party
The ABTA Lifeline Auction will take place during the Travelport Party on Tuesday 10 October. Auction Lots include: 

  • a Jaguar F-Type sports car for a long weekend, donated by Avis Budget Group
  • holiday to Croatia for four people staying at a 5* beachfront hotel [half-board], donated by TUI
  • all-inclusive stay for two adults at the Pineapple Beach Club, Antigua, donated by Hotel and Elite Islands Resorts
Enter our Raffle Draw
Enter the ABTA LifeLine Raffle for the chance to win a Mulberry Lilly shoulder bag.

During the delegate lunches on Tuesday 10 and Wednesday 11 October, simply put a minimum of £10 / €10 into an ABTA LifeLine donation envelope, which you will find on the lunch tables. The winner will be announced during the ABTA Chairman's closing remarks on Wednesday afternoon.
