Peace Day - September 21
is a worldwide day that provides an opportunity to take action - personally, locally or globally - toward a more peaceful world. Some use the platform of Peace Day for humanitarian, justice and human rights activities, all of which are essential to building peace. Others use it to teach/learn practical skills for creating more peaceful interactions, or to lift up important peace related work happening year-round. Still others engage citizens in diverse peace-related activities related to education, the arts, faith, the environment, community building, intercultural dialogue and health.
