Howard County Veterans Resource Fair
April 5, 2016 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.
The fair will offer attendees the opportunity to talk face-to-face with more than 35 different organizations, businesses and non-profits that are dedicated to providing services, support and jobs to veterans. All veterans (active, guard and reserve) are invited to attend.

Leadership Howard County presents The Big Event with keynote speaker Captain Richard Phillips, who became the center of a riveting international drama in 2009 when his cargo ship was hijacked by Somali pirates, and he was held captive for five days at sea. His story was the basis for the Academy Award-nominated movie "Captain Phillips."

Seeking Artists for Paint It! Ellicott City 2016
The Howard County Arts Council (HCAC) is currently seeking artists to take part in Paint It! Ellicott City, an annual plein air paint-out sponsored by HCAC, Howard County Tourism, the Ellicott City Partnership, and the Howard County Public School System.
Taking place from July 9-12, juried artists will set up their easels throughout Ellicott City's historic district and 'paint the town' as they vie for a minimum of $5,000 in total awards, including the $2,000 Gino Award. Community artists are invited to join the fun as part of the Open Paint-Out taking place concurrently.
The deadline for entries for the juried portion of Paint It! Ellicott City 2016 is April 29.

Baltimore Armour is a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching local boys valuable lessons in hard work, leadership, team building and commitment through the game of Soccer. Our golf tournament donates 100% of its proceeds towards helping these boys, many who otherwise could not afford it, play soccer at this Elite level. We are seeking sponsorships, promotional items, and items for Silent Auction!
