Dear Neighbor;

If you're like most of our community, you believe in neighbors helping neighbors. Our program, Habitat for Humanity of Berkeley County (HFHBC) does not offer a hand out, but a hand up.

You can help us build safe and affordable homes. Upon their completion, these homes are purchased with a  25 year, no-interest/no-profit mortgage by our qualified partner families. These families complete no less than 350 sweat equity hours in the areas of financial and homeownership education, service to their fellow partner families and service to their local community.

Our 2014-2015 "What Will You Build" fund drive has kicked off with a goal of raising $100,000. This will be used to serve 5 families through a combination of new construction and neighborhood revitalization projects in Berkeley County.

HFHBC is a community organization and we exist to serve you, your loved ones and all of our community members.
