Deadline for Submitting Event Forms
Beginning Wednesday, October 1st the Office of Student Activities will not accept any late event request forms for events on campus. Instead, our office will contact you to select a later date to hold your event and resubmit your form. We have allowed a generous grace period at the start of the school year as groups learned and navigated our procedures for reserving space and holding events on campus.
For regular events (not considered special in nature), forms are always due Monday at 4pm the week BEFORE your event. Special events require forms to be submitted to our office at least ONE MONTH in advance.

You can see these dates on our website here. It is also written on top of the form you complete as well as covered multiple times in our Student Activities Orientations session we require all groups to attend.

Student organization leaders: please share and reiterate this information to those in your group(s) who will be completing our forms so that you can get forms in on time.
If you have any questions, please email us at
[email protected].
Need to Make Changes to Your OIF?
If your organization's information has changed since you submitted the Organization Info Form (OIF) we need to know. Rather than submitting a whole new OIF, please complete this (much smaller) form.
Congratulations Lambda Sigma Society

The Alpha Delta Chapter of Lambda Sigma Society has been named a National Honor Chapter!

They were honored to receive the award at the national convention which was just held at the national conference in Auburn, AL. This award is given to chapters of Lambda Sigma that strongly uphold the four Lambda Sigma pillars of scholarship, leadership, fellowship, and service.
Also while at convention, they were able to meet with other Lambda Sigma chapter presidents from all over the country and get an insight to the similarities and the differences between the happenings for each chapter.

Congratulations!

SGA Judicial Board Updates

Appeal Process

* Students get (5) days from their initial date they received the citation to appeal their parking citation. The five days include weekends as well.
* To request a hearing for your parking citation, go to www.usm.edu/parking -> scroll down to orange box that says "citation appeals and payments". Click on the box. Then click on the underlined wording that says "request a hearing on the citation, complete a citation appeal form or make a payment online.
* Once you submit the appeal, it automatically goes to Parking Management. Parking Man-agement either brings the case before the student judicial board or the Dean of Students (DOS) office.

Handicap (HC) Deals

* If students plan to park in handicap parking spots on campus, they must VALIDATE their handicap decal with Parking Management.
* Meaning, students, faculty and staff must validate their handicap status with Parking Man-agement so they will not receive a ticket for parking in a handicap parking spot. You MUST validate it! Once validated, students will receive a placard. (NOTE: Must bring HC
* Any visitors to campus who come on campus must also validate their handicap decal on campus for their temporary time on campus. They validate these at the Information Booth at the front of campus.
