Presidents, Advisors, and Officers,

It's Monday, and that means it's time for another edition of the Hub Headlines. Don't forget... fall break starts is this Thursday and Friday. Enjoy the time off from classes and extracurricular activities.

Southern Miss, To The Top!
Important Student Activities Updates

If your group did not attend a Student Activities Orientation for the 2013-2014 school year, you must contact the Office of Student Activities to make arrangements to meet with a staff member in our office. No on-campus events will be registered or scheduled for groups that have not completed this requirement. Please email William Takewell, [email protected], to make arrangements for these meetings.

We still need your rosters! Active organization rosters are due to the Office of Student Activities. Rosters can be submitted via email as an Excel document to William Takewell, [email protected]. Rosters were due Sept. 30, however, we will accept them until all groups have turned them in. This will help our office better understand what groups need, and how many people are involved on campus.
Make sure to include all active members' names and ID numbers.

SMAC's Halloween Carnival is set for Tuesday, Oct. 29! Host a craft, game, or activity for the kids of our community! Click here to register your Halloween Carnival booth.

Presidents' Council Meetings: We are still accepting nominations for the PCM Leadership Team. If you, or a student organization president you know, are interested in working to put together PCMs for the year and help establish the future of Presidents' Council. Please submit your nominations and/or interest in serving to [email protected]. The first Leadership Team meeting will take place after fall break.

Eagle Dining is conducting its annual dining style survey and needs YOUR help getting respondents. In order to get an accurate analysis on what the campus would like to see in regards to dining options Eagle Dining needs at least 1,000 respondents - currently there are 205 respondents. The survey is open until October 25 and we ask for you to pass this message to anyone you can (faculty/staff, students, etc.) to complete.

This survey is extremely important because it is used to identify opportunities for dining on campus. Eagle Dining wants to know how to better serve YOU.
