Huckabee: "Israel Celebrating End of Hostile Obama Regime"

With each passing day many Israelis are slowly breathing more easily.  The past eight years have been the most difficult in the history of US/Israel relations in the history of the State.  While past administrations may not have cooperated easily, may not have offered up assistance unasked, none seemed committed to abandoning Israel completely...until the now outgoing administration.

As former US Ambassador Michael Oren exposed the difference, "From the moment he entered office, Mr. Obama promoted an agenda of championing the Palestinian cause and achieving a nuclear accord with Iran. Such policies would have put him at odds with any Israeli leader. But Mr. Obama posed an even more fundamental challenge by abandoning the two core principles of Israel's alliance with America."

Former Governor Mike Huckabee commenting on Prime Minister Netanyahu's expression of optimism on "60 Minutes" on Sunday, voices his shared hopefullness that the next administration will be a true friend to Israel, dismissing the idea that Israel is an obstacle to peace in the Middle East.

Moving US Embassy to Jerusalem a Priority For New Administration

Moving the U.S. Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem will be a major focus for Donald Trump according to senior aide Kellyanne Conway.

Conway made this statement to conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt yesterday on his Monday morning show. "He (Trump) made it very clear during the campaign, Hugh, and as president-elect I've heard him repeat it several times privately, if not publicly."

This post-election statement makes us hopeful that this time the move is more than a campaign promise!
