We are frolicking with joy in this beautiful weather - Well, maybe we aren't, but our pets are! The warm weather is even more inviting when you share it with fellow animal lovers - Mark you calendars for the Curry Car Show on June 4. They are donating their profits to Pets Alive! Get an update on the impact we had last month, and consider joining the board. Please enjoy this issue!

Curry Auto Center Car Show
Saturday, June 4 from 9am-2pm @ Curry Auto Center
Mark your calendars for the Curry Car Show on Sunday, June 4. Curry Auto Center is generously donating proceeds to Pets Alive. Every year, they close off the main streets and partner with local businesses to throw the area's largest car show. There will be a silent auction, raffle, local food trucks, and plenty of vintage cars! You can register for the car show or simply come enjoy the fun.

Over 900 Cats Fixed in April
We put a huge dent in the community cat population

Thanks to funding from PetSmart Charities, Pets Alive was able to offer free community and feral cat surgeries throughout April. While we typically perform 500-700 cat surgeries in a month, our clinic staff put in the sweat and overtime to get a whopping 909 cats through surgery in April alone!! That is an incredible feat, and we are so happy to have made such a huge impact on the community cat population. Check out what just one cat can do in a year:

Seeking Animal Lovers to Lead Pets Alive
Join the Pets Alive Board and lead this great agency

Pets Alive needs YOU! We are seeking talented and enthusiastic animal lovers to serve as board members and steward our agency. Meet like-minded people in your community who work hard to make sure every pet has a loving home. Show off your skills and expertise in a committee, including Governance, Finance, and Development. The board meets on the 4th Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. for about an hour. Please contact Board Chair Carol Rhodes to learn more!
