Note From The Principal

December is a great month for the Rhodes School for the Performing Arts. We are in full swing with the preparation for the production "Annie Jr.". The winter production is a RSPA tradition and a wonderful opportunity for our families and communities to join us in our pride of our students.

To help us work toward building literacy in all academic areas with our students, please ensure that your children are reading at least 30 minutes a day. This will ensure growth and is a vital part of development for reading skills.

With December around the corner and the start of winter comes the drop in temperatures may. We ask that you please make sure your children are properly dressed for school. With the climate change, illnesses have been a concern for some of our students. We understand that illnesses occur, and we appreciate you doing everything in your power to make sure your students stay healthy and attend school when appropriate.

The month of December gives us the Christmas holiday. It is always nice to reflect during this time of year about the past year and the many blessings we have received. I am extremely thankful for working with a great staff, students, and parents. It is awesome to see so many people come together to support the students at Rhodes School for the Performing Arts.

Reminder, our tardy bell is at 7:45. Please ensure that your child is in school before that time, to reduce tardies.

Volunteer Opportunities

KaBoom Volunteers and Food Donations

200 Volunteers are needed December 14, 2018 to assist with building a new playground at the new North Shore Campus located at:

13334 Wallisville Rd. Houston TX.

Shifts start at 6:30am and end at 2:00pm. If you volunteer for two hours or more and you get a free t-shirt. Click HERE to register. Church groups, organizations, and companies are welcome!

Food, water, and snack donations are welcome.
