TAP IT TUESDAY AT 6PM
This week's live barrel tapping at the Barrel House on Tuesday at 6pm is LIVE: Humidor, a single-barrel release of our sour Double Porter ale aged in an American oak barrel for two years with vanilla beans and cacao nibs from Portland’s own Woodblock Chocolate. Rich aromas of pipe tobacco, cacao and cigar box evolve into flavors of vanilla bean and toasted oak with a dry, lingering finish. Come early and hear Jessica and Charley Wheelock of Woodblock talk about their nibs! 8.6% ABV, $7.5 glass, $2.5 taster.
VLAD THE IMP ALER 2013 RELEASE & 3 YEAR VERTICAL TASTING
We will be releasing Vlad the Imp Aler 2013 on draft on Wednesday, 11/4 at Noon at the Barrel House. Vlad the Imp Aler is a blend of spiced Quads, Triples and Blondes aged in Bourbon and wine barrels for over 18 months with orange peel and coriander. Vlad offers a fresh acidity and full body with flavors of citrus, spice and rich oak. 12.3% ABV, $8 glass, $3 taster. We will also be offering a vertical tasting of the three vintages in existence – 2009, 2011 and 2013 – while supplies last.

KITCHEN CREATIONS
This week's limited kitchen creations will be available at the Barrel House beginning Tuesday at 5pm. SAVORY items include  Robiola Bosina en croute (v, $7, puff pastry wrapped soft cheese),  Pâté de Lapin ($10, rabbit, pork, duck & chicken) and  Beef Chanterelle Bleu Crepe ($10, tenderloin, Chanterelles, buffalo bleu béchamel). SWEET items include  Chocolate Chess Pie (v, $4.5),  Dark Chocolate Bourbon Balls (v, $3) and  Dark Chocolate Truffles (v+, gf, nf, $5).  SOUPS are  Beer Cheese (v, Daily),  Chicken Tortilla (Tu-Thu) and  Clam Chowder (Fri until gone).
MULLED APPLE SOUR, SERVED HOT
Now on tap at the Barrel House: Mulled Apple Sour, a seasonal blend of Blond and Red ales aged in oak wine barrels for 14 months with vanilla bean and spices, then sweetened with fresh apple cider & honey. Served hot!
CRANBERRY BOTTLES & DRAFT
Cranberry 2015 is now available in bottles and on draft at the Barrel House. This NW style sour ale is a blend of Wheat ales that were aged in oak wine barrels with cranberries, orange peel and cinnamon for up to 14 months. 6.9% ABV, $7 glass, $2 taster, $20 bottle. It's the ideal beer for your Thanksgiving table!
RACCOON LODGE
The Raccoon Lodge features a dozen beers on tap, including four sours. We currently also have Sang Noir 2014, Pumpkin Smash 2014 and Cranberry 2015 available in bottles.

Join Carlos in the Den (21 and over) for football on one of our five big screens and breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 10am to Noon. Try one of his classic Mimosas for only $3, or how about an orange-pineapple mimosa? 2014 BARREL AGED DOUBLE DUNK'N PUNK'N
Just for fun we took our Imperial Pumpkin Ale – brewed with five pounds per barrel of local Cinderella pumpkins and spiced with allspice, clove, cinnamon, ginger and orange peel – and aged it for six months in Heaven Hill Bourbon barrels with vanilla beans. Enjoy bourbon soaked winter spices and a long, rich, warming finish. Look for it at the Barrel House later this week, and at the Raccoon Lodge soon!
