HUNTERDON COUNTY INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS

Califon
The Califon Fire Company's 98th annual Carnival will run from Monday, July 2, through Saturday, July 7, at the Firemen's Field behind the Municipal building at 39 Academy Street. The carnival will feature assorted rides, carnival games, and food. Fireworks will be sent up on Tuesday, July 3, and Friday, July 6. Wristband nights for pay one price deals will be on Tuesday, July 3, Wednesday, July 4, and Thursday, July 5. Pre-sale wristbands will be available until Sunday July 1 at Califon Lumber Company, Califon Wine & Spirits and  campys.com . For more information, visit  califonfire.org .

Lebanon
Lebanon Borough's 71st annual Fourth of July Parade will start with a children's parade commencing at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 4, at Sutton Place, across from Police Headquarters, with a short procession up Main Street. New this year will be the pet parade, with dogs dressed in patriotic costumes. Just before the main parade 10 a.m. starting at Main Street from Route 22 will be the house decorating contest. After the parade a festival will be held in Holjes-Sheppard Park with a flag raising ceremony, awards presentation and games. Flemington
Flemington-Raritan Parks and Recreation Committee will host fireworks at 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 3. The upper parking lot of Reading-Fleming Intermediate School at 50 Court Street will be open at 7:30 p.m with a DJ providing music. The rain date is Thursday, July 5.

Lambertville 
The Delaware River Towns Chamber of Commerce will again host a fireworks display on the river between Lambertville and New Hope, Pa., at 9:30 p.m. on Friday, July 6, as well as on Fridays, Aug. 3 and Sept. 7.
