Catholic Charities, Diocese of Venice, Inc. is operating Disaster Response Centers for victims of Hurricane Irma. Catholic Charities also is collecting monetary donations and donations of items needed at the Disaster Response Centers. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

PARISH RECOVERY ASSISTANCE CENTERS

Disaster Services of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul-USA  are operating five Parish Recovery Assistance Centers in Southwest Florida. The centers will be open through Friday, October 13.

Volunteers provide information on FEMA, Small Business Administration and other state and local disaster programs, as well as providing some aid, hygiene kits, cleanup buckets, and registering households with Crisis Cleanup for muck outs and debris removal.

DISASTER RESPONSE CENTERS
SERVING VICTIMS OF HURRICANE IRMA

Catholic Charities, Diocese of Venice, Inc. is operating Disaster Response Centers. The centers are open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. All are in need of non-perishable food, gift cards, baby diapers and wipes and food, and cleaning supplies including Shock Wave mold killer, sprayers, mops, paper towels, disinfecting wipes, buckets, rubber gloves, and masks. Anyone interested in volunteering or providing items can contact the center. Regional Drop-off Locations also are available to accept items.

FEMA ASSISTANCE

EMERGENCY HOUSING

FEMA is offering emergency housing for free for up to 90 days. There is no pre-requisite information required to receive assistance. Call 866-545-9865 to apply for emergency housing.

INDIVIDUAL ASSISTANCE TO HOMEOWNERS

FEMA offers assistance to homeowners for home repairs under the FEMA Individual Household Program. Apply by calling 1-800-621-3362 (1-800-621-FEMA) or online at www.disasterassistance.gov.
