Dear FBC Family,
This email is to inform you of the relief efforts underway through FBC and our national and community partners, and how you can help.

For the past two mornings a mighty group of willing volunteers were deployed into our community to begin providing help with tree and debris removal for a few of the hardest hit in our area. We are grateful for these teams of volunteers who are giving their time and resources to help others.

As of today: (Tuesday, September 18)

  • FBC's Tuesday Night Feeding Ministry WILL serve today! Through generous donations from our community we will begin prepping food at 12 Noon, and start serving at 2pm today. Volunteer downtown at the church.

  • NC Baptist Men and Women Disaster Relief is setting up a feeding ministry at our Activities Center that will greatly bless our community. These hot meals are for everyone in community. They will be serving up to 20,000 hot meals a day by a 'drive through style service'. Passing out as many meals as folks say they need. Getting the food into Wilmington has been a challenge and we are waiting word as to when these meals will begin. (STAY TUNED) 5-6 Volunteers will be needed to help with traffic flow and to distribute meals on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. VOLUNTEER HERE
