Venture down Skid Row to Mushnik and Son and get a glimpse of their newest exotic plant – the tough-talking, R&B-singing carnivorous Audrey II! Adapted for the stage from the hit 1980’s movie musical, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS follows floral assistant Seymour as he tries to win the love of his co-worker Audrey while becoming an overnight sensation for his discovery of this strange new plant. Featuring the ubiquitous duet “Suddenly Seymour” and a score full of pop and R&B-tinged tunes, hurry “Downtown” and catch this darkly comic musical!

I’VE GOT A FRIEND IN YOU
“When other friendships have been forgot, ours will still be hot!” Join 13 of our immensely talented young students this weekend as the Clear Space Children’s Theatre debuts with I’VE GOT A FRIEND IN YOU. Featuring musical and scene selections from shows like ANYTHING GOES, INTO THE WOODS, and YOU’RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN, this afternoon of friendship is sure to be great entertainment for the whole family! All tickets are $10.
Performances: Saturday, April 28 and Sunday, April 29 at 3:00 pm
Broadway Legends & Tapsations Perform on May 2
Our Broadway Legends class, featuring students 50 and over, will take the stage on May 2 at 11:00 am to sing the hits of 42ND STREET. And, as a special treat, The Tapsations will join our talented vocalists to add a few tap-happy numbers to the performance. Our Broadway Legends performances have the packed the house in previous semesters, so be sure to get here early and listen to the “Lullaby of Broadway!” Performance is FREE!

General & Children’s Theatre Auditions – Step into the spotlight!
Clear Space is holding two auditions on Saturday, May 19. At 10:00 am, doors will open for performers of all ages for a general audition. This audition will serve as a search for new performers for our upcoming season, beginning with SCROOGE! Those auditioning should prepare a song and monologue, as well as prepared to participate in a dance call. At 1:00 pm, auditions will roll over to the Clear Space Children’s Theatre, an Arts Institute class that will perform “The Grimm Trail” this fall in conjunction with The Sea Witch Festival. Open to students of all ages, those auditioning should prepare a 30-second monologue. Please direct any questions about either audition to Company Manager David Button at David@ClearSpaceTheatre.org.
