Brenda Nguyen and Levi Gipson earned Athlete of the Year honors for their play in Campus Recreation’s intramural sports program. Seventy-one IM events across the spectrum of sport and games are available to students to foster positive social interactions, stress-relief, and the spirit-of-competition. Read more>>

Beta Theta Pi fraternity at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln earned the Chapter Award of Distinction from the North-American Interfraternity Conference. The Beta Theta Pi chapter at Nebraska was one of seven fraternity chapters nationally to receive this honor. Read more>>

The new residence hall nearing completion on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s East Campus will carry the name of Martin Massengale, president and chancellor emeritus and founding director of the Center for Grassland Studies and Foundation Distinguished Professor. Read more>>

Nebraska's Recreation and Wellness Center on East Campus is 1 of 34 colleges/universities featured in the Athletic Business Architectural Showcase. This is the third time a Nebraska recreation facility has been featured. The Outdoor Adventures Center and the construction of the Recreation and Wellness Center were both previously included. A partnership between the Residence Hall Association, Goodwill and the Huskers Helping Huskers Pantry+ offered students the chance to donate items on-site that they didn't want to move with them. Over the course of approximately three weeks, donation bins collected 19,638 pounds of goods for Goodwill and more than 8,000 items for the pantry. Read more>>
