A Weekly Newsletter of the Husker Summer Recreational Day Camps

Welcome to Summer Camps 2017!
Here's information about the upcoming Husker Kids™ and Husker Adventures™ activities and points-of-emphasis to make a great camp experience for all. Let us know if you have questions or if there is a way we can make a better experience for your child.
Beat the Heat!

  • Outside activities ares scheduled for morning activity blocks, when temperatures are coolest during the camp day.

  • Campers are encouraged to take their water bottles with them everywhere they go and are given opportunities to fill up prior to being outside and throughout the day.

  • In addition to good hydration, remember to pack a lunch full of energy boosting, nutritious foods for your child.

  • Send your camper to camp with sunscreen already applied to their skin. Feel free to send additional sunscreen as well. Your child is given opportunities to reapply throughout the day.
