It was a 2nd straight win over a highly ranked opponent, as the Hyacks defeated #1 ranked and defending Provincial Champion Mt Douglas, 45-19 at Mercer Stadium. Sabau rushed for 171 yards on 15 carries. Defensively Connor Pattison stood out with his best game as a Hyack with 11 tackles, including 3 for loss and a pair of QB sacks. Trew Dancey scored the final TD of the game and also added 6 tackles and a sack on defense. Isaiah James was named the Lineman of the Game.
It was a special night for 18 Hyack graduating players as the team honored them and their parents during the annual Seniors Night ceremony which took place following the game.
