Established in 2000, Hyde de Villaine is a venture between Larry Hyde of Hyde Vineyards (Napa Valley) and Aubert de Villaine of Domaine de la Romanee Conti (Burgundy). The families, related by marriage, share long histories in French and Californian winemaking. Combining their knowledge and passion, both families aim to create uncompromising single vineyard wines from the slope of Hyde Vineyards.
Last Monday, HdV held its first wine dinner event in Singapore at CUT by Wolfgang Puck. As the wine partner for this dinner, we were pleased to know that every guest was captivated by its Chardonnay. The
minerality of the Chardonnay went
perfectly well with the beetroot salad and the scallops.
