The I Back Jack Foundation is grateful for the supporters who continue to take "good steps" to make a difference. With your support we will continue to grow, make progress, inspire hope, and move toward a day when beating cancer will be within our reach.

NATIONAL CANCER ADVISORY BOARD
Last month, President Barack Obama announced his nominations to key Administration posts.  Dr. Peter Adamson was appointed to the National Cancer Advisory Board.  Dr. Adamson is attending physician in the Division of Oncology at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), a position he has held since 1999.  Dr. Adamson has been Chair of the Children's Oncology Group, supported by the National Cancer Institute (NCI), since 2010.  It is wonderful progress and very exciting news to have a childhood cancer representative on the Advisory Board.  The entire childhood cancer community is celebrating this recognition of childhood cancer as a crucial health focus. Also important to note, Dr. Adamson is the G9 Project Advisor having met Annie Bartosz in 2013 and offering his help with her wonderful work.

The I Back Jack Foundation asks that you keep Brooke Hester's family in your thoughts and prayers as she found her ultimate cure and joined Jack as a golden angel just two weeks ago. She will forever beautifully grace the G9 Video Book and continue to inspire so many with Brooke's Blossoming Hope Foundation. Our mission to back research, inspire hope, and defeat childhood cancer will continue for Brooke and all the children who will forever inspire us and push us to make a difference.

There are many ways to get involved with the Foundation's signature fundraiser, the 7th Annual Back to School Event.  

Volunteer: Work the event.  Time slots are available between 9:00am and 9:00pm.

Donate: We are collecting unique and exciting items to include in our silent and live auctions.

Sponsor: Consider sponsorship at one of the many levels.  

Goodie Bags: Share an item with our generous participants.  We expect approximately 200 people for golf and tennis.

 Annie Does it Again!
Congratulations to Gold In September Founder, Annie Bartosz, on being selected as a Regional Winner for District 2 in the 2015 Kohl's Cares Scholarship Program.

Winners were chosen based on the benefits and outcomes of their volunteer services. Annie was one of 180 Regional winners.  

Way to go Annie!!!

Make A Difference July 20, 2015
Donate blood for Every Child, Everywhere.  This blood drive is being coordinated by a local student, Kali Flesch for G9.  Please come out and donate!
Help Us Grow!
If you haven't already, mark your calendar for the 7th Annual Back to School Event on Monday, September 14 at Chenequa Country Club.  The silent and live auction items are amazing.  Know that your participation helps ensure our children have the opportunity to grow healthy and happy!  Please join us for a fun-filled day and help us grow!  Invitations will be mailed soon, watch for yours to arrive. 

Think Outside The Box
There are many ways to get involved to help the Foundation continue to offer hope to children and their families fighting cancer.  Is your child about to celebrate a birthday?  Let's say your child is turning 8. Ask everyone for an $8 donation for the I Back Jack Foundation or come up with your own inspiring idea. Also, consider the Foundation for memorials, wedding, anniversary or other celebratory gift ideas.  Be creative. Think outside the box and know that every dollar counts.
