I Hope You Dance by Lee Ann Womack

"And when you get the chance to sit it out or dance, I hope you dance."

When I first heard this song, and that line in particular, I immediately thought, yes, that's it, that's what I hoped for my children. That they live each day to the fullest and embrace every opportunity that comes their way.

One of the best gifts I was ever given was unconditional love
from my parents. I grew up believing I could be and do anything. To this day, many (I won't say how many) years later, I still believe.
My daughter "can" change a flat tire and the oil in her car, because no one ever told her that she "can't".

We know that feeding our children nutrious food helps them stay healthy, and we know that encouraging excercise helps them stay fit - both very important for their future. And it is just as important to nourish their spirits. Our postive words and actions make a difference.

I Hope You Dance

Each of us has the power to effect our own lives and the lives of others by our choices.  My choice is to Dance!!!! I hope "you" dance...too!
