I have MANY times in my life and career commented on and preached the ABSOLUTE TRUTH found in:
Acts 20:35 (KJV)
35 I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
It TRULY is SO much better/BLESSED "to GIVE than to receive!!"
BUT HEED this IMPORTANT Truth-God ONLY gives "SEED to the SOWER!!"
Isaiah 55:10 (KJV)
10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
By contrast, God does NOT give SEED to the HOARDER!!!
Luke 12:16-21 (KJV)
16 And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:
17 And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?
18 And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.
19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.
20 But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?
21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.
God ONLY gives "SEED TO THE SOWER" because seed hoarded beareth no fruit/increase.
OUR Loving, AMAZING GOD wants us to "be FRUITFUL and MULTIPLY":
Genesis 1:27-28 (KJV)
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
TODAY, beloved, God WANTS, God DESIRES that YOU- YES YOU!- BE "the head, and not the tail;
AND that THOU shalt be above ONLY, and THOU shalt NOT be beneath!!"

13 And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:
