I'm A Believer! 9/6/17

I'm A Believer! 9/6/17

Matthew 7:21 (KJV)
21  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Sadly, the TRUTH is not everyone who thinks/believes they are a BELIEVER is TRULY a BELIEVER!!!!!

Of course, the other shoe is that there is only one Judge, and, PRAISE THE LORD, that Judge is NOT you and/or me!!!!

1 Peter 4:5 (KJV)
5  Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead.

Jesus,Himself, uttered this shocking confession:

Matthew 10:36 (KJV)
36  And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

David, in amazement, utter similar Words:

Psalm 55:12-14 (KJV)
12  For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him:

13  But it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance.

14  We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company.

"I'm A Believer"

I thought love was only true in fairy tales
Meant for someone else but not for me.
Love was out to get me
That's the way it seemed.
Disappointment haunted all my dreams.

In THIS life, WE too often experience the pain of "BELIEVING" that another is of the same BELIEF as we:

Psalm 55:12 (KJV)
12  For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him:

REPROACHED-a primitive root; to pull  off, i.e. (by implication) to expose (as by stripping ); specifically to betroth (as if a surrender); figurative to carp at, i.e. defame ; denominative (from <H2779> (choreph)) to spend the winter :- betroth, blaspheme, defy, jeopard, rail, reproach, upbraid.
Strong's Talking Greek & Hebrew Dictionary.

Amos 3:3 (KJV)
3  Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

2 Corinthians 6:14 (KJV)
14  Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Jesus issued these sobering Words:

Matthew 10:34 (KJV)
34  Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

Luke 12:51-53 (KJV)
51  Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:

52  For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.

53  The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

My Bible, on my computer, carries this "ITALICIZED" warning before the Verses following:

" PAUL WARNS TIMOTHY IN TIMES OF STRESS!"

2 Timothy 3:1-5 (KJV)
1  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3  Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4  Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5  Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Truly, WE are living "IN THE LAST DAYS!!!!"

" I thought love was more or less a given thing,
Seems the more I gave the less I got.
What's the use in tryin'?
All you get is pain.
When I needed sunshine I got rain."

Matthew 10:14 (KJV)
14  And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.

SOBERING WORDS spoken by our Lord and Savior!!!

Each of us have to:

" Walk this lonesome valley-we HAVE to walk it by our self!!!"

The GREAT news is this:

Galatians 6:9 (KJV)
9  And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

TODAY, " shake off the dust of your feet," and:

Galatians 6:10 (KJV)
10  As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

GOD BLESS YOU!
