Aren't you thankful that the baby Jesus whose birth we celebrate during the Christmas season didn't stay a baby?  This tiny, helpless baby grew up and lived an amazing, sinless life showing us the love and heart of the Father, then He gave His life--to give us eternal life!  He rose from the dead,conquering the power of sin and death, ascended into Heaven, and will one day soon come back to this earth as King of kings and Lord of lords.  Do you still picture Jesus as a newborn baby lying in a manger whose birth we celebrate this Christmas morning--or have you allowed Him to grow up and be the Lord of your life?
