What Does this News Mean for YOU?
As Cynthia emphasized on today's call - as pleased as she is to become IACP's new EVP - she's absolutely more thrilled in what IACP has in store for YOU!
IACP is in the midst of
reviewing & revitalizing ALL of our current programs. We want to ensure we're completely in tune with our membership, providing you with what you need!
We're looking at virtually everything and asking -
does this truly serve our members? Are we providing information in a way that's timely, helpful and user friendly? And bottom-line - does it benefit you the member, your pharmacy, and your ability to serve your patients!
Keeping this Member-driven Mission in mind - here are some examples of our current initiatives:
*
Engaging in ongoing Strategic Planning efforts to ensure IACP remains a strong member-driven organization for years to come. If you fail to plan - you plan to fail!
*
Redesigning the IACP Public and Members-only Websites to make them more relevant to your practice and much more user-friendly.
*
Strengthening our entire IACP Committee structure to involve more of you on our committees, and to make sure our committees have the tools to be truly outstanding.
*
Revitalizing our Membership Survey efforts so that we are keeping in touch with you and regularly engaging your opinions. And,
most importantly - communicating back to you the changes we're making based on your opinions.
*
Sharing the ongoing efforts of IACP's Government Affairs team in a more timely, clear and concise manner - always with the message -
what does this mean for your practice and your patients?
*
Redesigning our August district recess packet to provide clear instructions on how to meet with Members of Congress over the August recess -
look out for this soon!
*
Increasing state legislative and regulatory updates through IACP's Compounders Stateside, posting weekly on our website, and direct emailing to IACP member states where breaking news is occurring.
*
Launching and recruiting more pharmacy compounding advocates through our Partnership for Personalized Prescriptions (P3) effort - raising awareness, understanding and appreciation for compounded medications, and providing the tools for our advocates to quickly mobilize and take action on behalf of our patients.
*
Strengthening our Corporate Partner relationships and programs - more effectively connecting their expertise to your pharmacies. Providing more webinars, more speaking opportunities, and more resources.
*
Working more closely with State Pharmacists Associations, supporting and assisting them as they work tirelessly to help compounding pharmacists.
*
Expanding our IACP membership base - offering incentives like our current membership drive - 25% off new memberships - to ensure IACP remains a thriving association, and to recruit and engage more of your colleagues.
*
Pumping UP our Fundraising efforts so we can be a powerful and effective association for you! We have a lot more before us, with your help, we can
keep the momentum going & continue to accomplish some big goals.
