Fall is here, it's time to relax and enjoy some cooler weather, and the beautiful colors!
Thanks to your generosity, the IACP Foundation had another successful fundraiser meeting the goal of $150,000 set by this year's Rx Mixer Committee Fabulous Co-chairs Erin Michael, MBA, CPhT and Jennifer L. Petska, BS, CPhT. This year, we went back to a simpler time - the 50's when we celebrated our 13th Annual Rx Mixer - Rx Around the Clock! on Sunday, June 11, 2017 during Compounders on Capitol Hill (CCH) in Washington, D.C., June 10 - 13, 2017.
I would like to recognize Erin Michael for chairing and co-chairing the Rx Mixer for 4 years, and for serving on the committee for many more. Putting on such a great event for a 'Great Cause' is a lot of work. It has been my honor to have such a dedicated volunteer supporting the IACP Foundation Mission and Vision. Thank You Erin!
Our organization cannot function without great volunteers. Please help me to welcome our four new Board of Directors (below) who will serve from 2017 - 2019.
Your generosity over the years has helped to raise more than $1.8 million for the Foundation's education and research missions.
Your support really does make a difference! Read below about how with your contributions we were able to sponsor two (2) Educational sessions at the IACP CCH meeting. The Foundation also co-funded four (4) students to attend the
Educational Conference 2017
and completely funded two (2) students to attend
Compounders on Capitol Hill 2017!
Thanks for supporting and advancing the IACP Foundation with your contributions of time and money. We cannot continue to fund education and research about the importance of compounded medications in the health of our patients without you!

Rx Around the Clock
Raised More than $150,000!
IACP Foundation's 13
th
Annual Rx Mixer - Rx Around the Clock benefiting the IACP Foundation was held Sunday, June 11, 2017 from 7:00 pm - Midnight at the Washington Marriott Wardman Park.
Event Co-Chairs, Erin Michael, MBA, CPhT and Jennifer L. Petska, BS, CPhT, with their Rx Mixer Committee, raised $157,500 through sponsorships and the auctions to benefit the IACP Foundation!
Ah, the 50's, a simpler time when drive-ins, soda fountains and poodle skirts were all the rage. The IACP Foundation's Rx Mixer: Rx Around the Clock
treated guests to a fun evening of classic food, cold drinks, fellowship, casino games and a sock hop to dance the night away
. Live Auction, Big Board, Silent Auction, Wall of Wine and the Reverse Draw were a fantastic draw again this year! All for a really good cause as we support the IACP Foundation's research and education initiatives. W
e gathered again with our colleagues and friends, and we want to emphasize that Rx Mixer is much more than a fun party. It's a Party with a Purpose!
Since the first Rx Mixer was held in 2005, supporters of the pharmacy compounding profession generously have contributed more than $1.8 million to IACP's educational and research mission.
