Classicist
No. 15, focused on Southern California, the ICAA is pleased to share an
exclusive interview with Elizabeth Moule, partner of Arthur Ross Award winning Pasadena firm Moule & Polyzoides, Architects and Urbanists.
Within this in-depth interview, conducted by Lauren Weiss Bricker, Ph.D., Ms. Moule highlights her work with the Congress for the New Urbanism, which she cofounded, and discusses how traditional architecture can address political, social, and environmental concerns. She also shares details about several of her notable projects, and explores her love of Los Angeles.

, a brand new educational video featuring Architectural Historian and ICAA Advisory Council member, Calder Loth.
Greek Classicism
is the second in a four-part series of free hour-long videos hosted by Mr. Loth and aimed at educating architectural practitioners and enthusiasts alike; by completing and passing a short quiz at the end of the video, eligible viewers will receive one AIA continuing education (CE) credit.

The ICAA holds programs on topics in architecture and the allied arts throughout the year, many of which are offered for free or at a reduced cost for ICAA members. These programs offer opportunities to engage with and learn more about the classical tradition as well as its historical and contemporary practice.
This fall's calendar features events across the country - including lectures, film screenings, tours, exhibitions, and more - that celebrate and examine classicism.

Classical American Homes Preservation Trust (CAHPT) and PLINTH, the ICAA’s emerging professionals in the New York City area, are pleased to be accepting submissions for an upcoming exhibition at the George F. Baker Houses, featuring the work of young practitioners working in the classical tradition.
The categories of art to be considered include: drawings, paintings, watercolors, models, sculpture, and furniture. The deadline to submit is October 1, see the link below for information about eligibility and submissions.

Among the ICAA’s most impactful and enduring education models is its Intensive Program in Classical Architecture – an eight-day course of study that introduces participants to the ICAA’s core curriculu
m through coursework in the classical orders, composition, proportion, drafting, observational drawing, and the literature of classical architecture. Intensives take place in
Los Angeles
(October 14-21, 2018) and
New York City
(January 5-12, 2019).
Scholarships are available for the Los Angeles and New York Intensives. In New York, the ICAA is proud to honor the contributions of former Board member Bill Harrison with the
