Celebrating the winners of the 2018 Arthur Ross Awards for Excellence in the Classical Tradition
Earlier this month, over 400 supporters of the ICAA gathered at a private club in New York City to celebrate the winners of the 2018 Arthur Ross Awards for Excellence in the Classical Tradition. Established in 1982, the Arthur Ross Awards further the educational mission of the ICAA by recognizing the achievements and contributions of architects, painters, sculptors, artisans, landscape designers, educators, publishers, patrons, and others dedicated to preserving and advancing the classical tradition.

Painting Buildings and Landscapes as an Architect

The ICAA is pleased to showcase the artwork of member practitioners on our website. Here, architect Michel G. Imber reflects on how his watercolor paintings allow him to explore the interaction between his own buildings and the landscapes in which they sit.

Christopher H. Browne Paris Drawing Tour
Join the ICAA for the 2018 Christopher H. Browne Paris Drawing Tour (October 6-13), an immersive program for architectural and design practitioners, as well as art and travel enthusiasts of all backgrounds. Using various media, including pencil, ink, and watercolor, students will depict iconic buildings and subjects, from the Domaine de Versailles to the Fondation de Coubertin, and more. Scholarships are also available.
