Stephanie Jazmines Named Winner of the 2018 Rieger Graham Prize
Stephanie Jazmines, an artist and architect from Los Angeles, CA, has been selected as the winner of the 2018 Rieger Graham Prize and a three-month Classical Design Fellowship at the American Academy in Rome.

Summer Studio in Classical Architecture
Applications Due March 30
The ICAA  Summer Studio in Classical Architecture  ( June 18 - July 14) is a four-week, immersive program introducing students to skills, knowledge, and resources essential to the practice and appreciation of classical design.

Thanks to The Richard H. Driehaus Charitable Lead Trust, the ICAA is able to offer both scholarships to offset tuition costs plus assistance to help with housing costs while in New York to ensure accessibility to the program for students of all financial backgrounds.

Architect Thomas A. Kligerman on "Unknown American Academy"
“Unknown American Academy” is a behind-the-scenes reflection on life and work as a scholar at the American Academy in Rome, the premier American overseas center for independent study and research in the fine arts and humanities. Written by architect Thomas A. Kligerman, who was a Visiting Scholar at the American Academy in 2017, this essay is the second in a three-part series that also explores Rome itself among other destinations in Italy, further afield.

The ICAA is pleased to present the 2018 Christopher H. Browne Rome Drawing Tour ( June 2-9) , an immersive program for architectural and design practitioners as well as art and travel enthusiasts of all backgrounds.

Instructors will include Architect  George Saumarez Smith ; Painter  Richard Piccolo ; Urban Designer, Architect, and Artist  David Mayernik ; and 2016 Rieger Graham Prize Winner Brendan Hart (TA); a dditional instructors to be announced soon.
