2018 Summer Studio in Classical Architecture
From June 18th t hrough July 14th, students from across the country spent four weeks in New York City for the ICAA's Summer Studio in Classical Architecture, an intensive program exploring the ideas, methods, and issues related to classical architectural design.

Continuing Education Courses
Registration is now open for fall continuing education courses at the ICAA
The ICAA offers a wide variety of courses in its core curriculum and related subjects for professional development and personal enrichment. Many courses have no prerequisites and are open to all with an interest in classical architecture and the allied arts.

This fall’s courses cover a broad range of subjects in the core curriculum and beyond, including architectural rendering, precedent, proportion, fine art, the history of architecture, urbanism, the classical elements, and much more.

Classical American Homes Preservation Trust and ICAA 2018 Exhibition
Submissions now open
Classical American Homes Preservation Trust (CAHPT) and PLINTH, the ICAA’s emerging professionals in the New York City area, are pleased to be accepting submissions for an upcoming exhibition at the George F. Baker Houses, featuring the work of young practitioners working in the classical tradition.

The categories of art to be considered include: drawings, paintings, watercolors, models, sculpture, and furniture. See the link below for information about eligibility and submissions.

Christopher H. Browne Paris Drawing Tour
October 6-13, 2018
Join the ICAA for the 2018 Christopher H. Browne Paris Drawing Tour, an immersive program for architectural and design practitioners, as well as art and travel enthusiasts of all backgrounds. Using various media, including pencil, ink, and watercolor, students will depict iconic buildings and subjects.

The ICAA is also pleased to offer the Christopher H. Browne Scholarship for students and emerging professionals nation-wide, and the Suzanne Kasler ICAA Southeast Scholarship , for students and emerging professionals from the Southeast Chapter states.

Travel with the ICAA to New York, Normandy, Ireland, & Beyond

The ICAA is pleased to partner with Classical Excursions to again present the Private New York tour (December 6-9), which continues the tradition of seeing the remarkable architecture and interiors of New York City first-hand.


Upcoming Professional Intensives in Classical Architecture
Los Angeles and New York City
Among the ICAA’s most impactful and enduring education models is its Intensive Program in Classical Architecture – an eight-day course of study that introduces participants to the ICAA’s core curriculum through coursework in the classical orders, composition, proportion, drafting, observational drawing, and the literature of classical architecture. Intensives take place in Los Angeles (October 14-21, 2018) and New York City (January 5-12, 2019).

The ICAA is also honored to announce the William H. Harrison Scholarship , awarding full tuition subsidy to one student of exceptional promise and aptitude to the  Intensive in Classical Architecture: New York.
