From the ICF-NJ President
I want to share some very exciting news with you:
Our Chapter made it the finalist round for the 2016 Chapter Awards!
If you were not aware of the awards, please let me share. This is a very difficult award to win and competition is tough as each chapter competes against all 160+ chapters globally.
Each chapter undergoes an evaluation by a committee comprised of six coaches from different regions from around the world. Each committee member holds an ICF credential and has chapter leadership experience. (Please know that these coaches are not part of chapters that are under consideration in the finalist round, to prevent conflicts of interest).
To be evaluated, each year every chapter submits various reports, such as marketing, finance, and so forth, to ICF Global. The marketing report is used as the primary source for award evaluation.
As you can imagine, I was extremely proud to receive this news! This is a great accomplishment, and we could not have done it without the support of our members and board.
While we did not win the award, I hope you agree this is cause for celebration for all of us.

Membership Corner
 Dear ICF-NJ Chapter Members,
I'm delighted to share some exciting news from ICF Global about our chapter membership.
As of today, our Chapter is at more than 79% retention, compared to ICF Global, which is at just under 73%. For further perspective, ICF's Global goal is 77% retention by December 31, 2017.
We're delighted by this evidence that our members value what our chapter offers. Thank you for joining or renewing, and if you've encouraged a fellow coach to join our renew their membership, you have our heartfelt appreciation.
We always welcome those who want to help expand our chapter by volunteering to support the membership committee. Volunteering on this, or any of our committees, is the best way keep our chapter growing with new ideas and new perspectives. If interested in volunteering or just hearing more, please contact me.
