New Jersey Coach Connect
April 2016
TopofDoc
From the ICF-NJ President

Dear Coaches,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank our members who completed the membership survey. The results are in so let's see how they align with our 2016 goals.

1. Increase membership engagement
2. Grow membership
3. Build a deep and sustainable bench of talent for our board and committee positions.

2016 Membership Survey Summary
  • 21% of current members participated in the survey* 76% of participants identified themselves as business, executive or an internal coach.
  • 22% of participants identified themselves as career, life or wellness coaches.
  • 94% of participants report that they are a member of ICF-NJ to be part of a coaching community.
Desired Programs Topics
  • 64% - Coaching Demonstrations
  • 60% - Core Coaching Skills
  • 44% - Business Development
  • Note: * 43% would travel up to 30 minutes to attend a meeting

  • Feedback was generally around time and location; a desire to have coaches (vs non-coaches) attend regularly and a desire for greater communication and awareness about the groups.
Call To Action

As you can see, responses are in support of our goals and also provide much more specific information to help the board serve it's members.

At this point, I would like to request that anyone who is interested in becoming more engaged with our chapter, to reach out to me directly at [email protected]. I would like to hear from you. There are opportunities on the board and in committees that do not require significant time commitments and I would appreciate your support.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best Regards,

Renée Robertson
2016 ICF-NJ President
