ICGC Post-Ramadan Thank You and Announcements
Bismillah
Assalamo Alaikum.

Alhamdulillah it was a beautiful and blessed Ramadan. Inshallah you had a wonderful Ramadan, rich with Ibadat and a very Eid Mubarak. May Allah swt accept all of your fasting, prayers and charity.

This note goes out with the help of so many including Amira in the office. It is on behalf of the Executive Committee and the entire IEC Board to let you know that we are thankful to Allah swt for all his blessings which include community members such as you and to thank you for being a part of the ICGC community. Your engagement and generosity, Alhamdulillah, has allowed us to raise over $300,000, our stretch goal, during Ramadan and Eid towards ICGC's over $1,000,000 budget expenses. We are still processing your donations as many of you have pledged to yet give, doing it through the monthly giving or as a part of ICGC's
Our Masjid, Our Future program. So if you get a call from Sr. Huma or Faiza in accounting, please do get back to them right away with whatever additional information might be needed to help process your commitment. Be fully assured, every penny of your donation is utilized for needs at the Center and betterment of the community. All donors for whom we have any record will be getting a personal note of appreciation and I would like for you to let me know if you do not.

In addition $26,000 was collected and 100% distributed of Zakat ul Fitr to feed and help 165 Muslim families in need in our region. $3,350 in food coupons was distributed to 27 families.

I truly feel we are blessed to be in this community and Allah swt has challenged us to live up to this blessing bestowed upon us. In addition to your generous donations there was much planning and many volunteers involved in Ramadan preparation and implementation. We had yet another year of  record number of attendees and Alhamdulillah record number of volunteers!

By reaching out to board, initiative and task leaders we have tried to capture as many of the Ramadan activities and volunteer names as possible. We are sure to have missed many and ask you to forgive us in any inadvertent oversight as each and everyone added value and contributed to a beautiful Ramadan.

We are most thankful to Allah swt and thank every one of you who made this Ramadan and Eid an enjoyable one! May Allah swt bless you, accept your generosity in your book of good deeds and bless your families and our Islamic Center and community. We humbly ask you to keep these thing and all of us in your prayers as well.
