GIT Shlomi Moyal taught the first Women instructor course in NL.

At the request of local instructors from IKMF NL the course included

special self defense techniques adapted to women, teaching methods, protective measures and theoretical information.

Due to the cultural characteristic in NL we see great prospect in this field. The course was 5 days long during which the participants had the chance to see Shlomi Moyal teach a 4 hour women self defense seminar so they

may witness firsthand how to perform such training as effectively as

possible.

An updated WIC manual was distributed to course graduates. 

Women's self defense classes will be available in NL soon!

GIT Tamir Gilad arrived to the US to teach part 1 of the LE course to KM trainees as well as a seminar for police personnel in Minnesota.

The course in Minnesota includes new takedown methods adapted to local law enforcement regulations. The course was taught according to  the new manual. As always Dante & Gail's hospitality was a lovely experience. Dante even promised to improve Tamir's dancing skills...  

GIT Haim Sasson arrived to Greece to teach a KIC as well as a

parent/ child seminar. During the seminar Haim caused a slight panic when he made some of the kids "disappear" without the parents noticing, as a preview of child abduction issue instructed in the seminar.

An updated KIC manual was distributed to course graduates recently.

The importance of the KIC in Greece was enhanced in light of a recent child abduction story that luckily ended well. A mother was walking in a local mall in Greece suddenly noticed that her son had disappeared.. She

called the police and the parameters around the mall were sealed immediately. Police forces searched after the child and found him head shaved, drugged and wearing new cloths in a rest room inside the mall.

Military Instructor Course in Israel.

The MIC in Israel just ended. Among various qualifications the trainees underwent all the warrior qualification phases, such as boot camp, warrior qualification, team qualification and unit designation. All, of course, were taught in KM orientation. The instructors of the course were IKMF chairman & head instructor, Avi Moyal, GITs Haim Sasson, Amnon Darsa and Israel Tamir, as well as other Israeli instructor who train IDF special forces in CQB, shooting & driving.

At the beginning of the course the trainees were informed that they may drop out at any given time as the real trial during the MIC is about endurance.

They were trained in rifle shooting, CQB methods adapted to modern fighting doctrine develop after latest IDF combat in Gaza strip. Also they underwent qualification in Road and Mountainous Area driving, learned the contents of warrior syllabus 1,2 &3 dealing with sentinel takedowns, useo of rifle as a cold weapon and much more.

IKMF chairman and head instructor, Avi Moyal, arrived to Finland to conduct instructor updates and seminars. The local instructors' feedback was very positive, noting how the new updates are highly effective in comparison with existing techniques. Avi also tested practitioners and performed an intro seminar for P levels.

Six years from his last visit to Finland IKMF chairman Avi Moyal was pleased to see that the most veteran IKMF organization in Europe is alive and kicking and is prominent in it's professional level along side with other IKMF organizations!

During the course of his visit Avi was interviewed by a local  magazine about KM methodics.

GIT Shlomi Moyal arrived to Switzerland to conduct instructors update training who are now common in every IKMF organization across the globe.

Shlomi also taught a bus seminar that included self defense techniques in tube formation.

During his visit to Switzerland Shlomi enjoyed great hospitality from Iocal IKMF director, joe, and commended him on that!

GIT Amnon Darsa visited Scotland to conduct similar instructor updates.

GIT Israel Tamir dropped by Cyprus for one day to conduct P level tests and a seminar.

GIT Tamir Gilad arrived to Germany to teach third side protection seminars.

IKMF NL conducted the annual directors' election during which Mr. Bo van Velzen was chosen as the new director for 2012 by a majority of one vote.

The result of the election only comes to show the importance of democracy in NL IKMF organization.

As the IKMF mantra sais, each individual contributes on their turn and in due time to improve knowledge, ability and the organization.

This is another opportunity to congratulate the exiting director, Ton van Leusden, on his remarkable job and impressive achievements in such a short period of time, during which he managed to build the NL organization from scratch.

This is also the platform to congratulate Bo on his new role and note that in the few days since the election he already managed to show how worthy he is and we wish him lots of success.

International directors' meeting:

The North America directors' meeting: The meeting showed substantial growth in the number of IKMF US branches  in the US. From 4 to 16 branches!

We would also like to congratulate all the new IKMF American branches

Far East directors' meeting:

The meeting took place in Bangkok under the spirit of interstate cooperation, in order to reduce expenses and increase organizational efficiency and proficiency.

Europe directors' meeting is just around the corner!
