JUNE RECITAL COSTUME FEES WERE DUE NOV. 1ST

Remember that our June 17th, 2017 29th Annual Recital Showcase will have dancers in beautiful costumes! This is quite a long planning process--we collect costume fees thru November, we measure all dancers in class in November & December, we order the costumes in January, they get shipped from late March thru late April, some classes perform in them in the Arts & Jazz Festival, we have recital photos taken in May, and then we perform in them in June! Whew!
PLEASE REMEMBER: Any costumes fees that go unpaid after December 31st will require an extra $10 per costume shipping & handling charge because they will NOT be ordered with the initial costume order. They will not arrive with the class's costumes and the dancer will not get to try them on with everyone else. Below are the costume fees most of which are the same as last year:
Combo (Ages 3-5) $85

After meeting with the DDC Faculty today, we've decided that our theme is "Our Time to Dance!" We will have our 29th recital at Krum High School on Saturday, June 17th. If you do not plan to have your dancer participate, please let us know as soon as you can.

Make sure your dancer knows that the only reason dancers wear makeup on stage is to ensure that their features are visible to even the back row of the audience. We do not wear makeup to be prettier or more handsome! Below are three YouTube videos that may help "de-mystify" the process:
