Thank you for Taking Action!
|
Last week, NCTE members sent more than 560 letters to congressional representatives requesting that they preserve public education funding. You helped us, along with other groups, to push the hashtag #edfunding, which reached 2.7 million users and garnered 6.7 million impressions.
Although the Education Day of Action is over, the budget process continues. We encourage you to continue letting your representatives know how important it is to fund Title I, Title II, LEARN, and public schools. You can still tell your senators to protect the LEARN act tonight! The deadline has been extended to today, Tuesday, May 23.
