IPSF, in partnership with the Irvine Unified School District, will present the 35th Annual Donald Bren Honors Concert tomorrow, March 16, at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts. IPSF is proud to be the first organization in the county to provide students the opportunity to perform in this magnificent venue.

We would like to welcome our newest partner in education and the 2017 Honors Concert Classical Sponsor, Digestive Disease Consultants of Orange County, and would like to thank our sponsors Orange County Community Foundation- Robert J. & Doreen D. Marshall Fund for Dramatic Arts, Mazda, HoneyBaked Ham, and Pepsico for their continued support.

THANK YOU WYLAND FOUNDATION

On March 6,students at Bonita Canyon Elementary were selected to experience the Wyland Clean Water Mobile Learning Center. The exhibit provided the students with a museum-quality science experience that allowed them to explore how the quality and availability of water effects the quality of our lives.

We would like to thank the Wyland Foundation for providing IPSF with the opportunity to bring this enriching experience to the students in Irvine.

CULVERDALE INNOVATION LAB BRINGS NEXT GENERATION LEARNING TO IRVINE STUDENTS
We are excited to share that Culverdale Elementary School has opened the doors to its new Innovation Lab powered by IPSF. The new lab was made possible by a grant from IPSF totaling $211,850. The funding provided significantly needed resources to increase students' access to 21st century learning. This milestone was achieved thanks to generous gifts to IPSF from The Hoag Foundation, Croul Family Foundation, and DKN Hotels.

The lab is designed to foster student-centered, problem-based learning, and provide technology spaces for a variety of projects and group work. In addition, it creates enhanced opportunities to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM) by providing an atmosphere that embraces intellectual risk-taking and the ability to learn from trial and error. Technology is integrated throughout the lab, including three types of robotics, green screen video production, coding lab, and zSpace AR/VR, designed to engage and inspire a passion for learning in students of all ability levels.
