HOAG ORTHOPEDIC INSTITUTE HONORED WITH
SPIRIT OF COMMUNITY AWARD

On May 20, Irvine Public Schools Foundation (IPSF), in partnership with Irvine Unified Council PTA (IUCPTA), hosted the annual Spirit of Community luncheon to honor the work and dedication of our incredible volunteers. The luncheon was held at the South Coast Chinese Cultural Center and attended by more than 150 volunteers and community leaders.
At the event, we honored
Hoag Orthopedic Institute (HOI) with this year's Spirit of Community Award for their outstanding contributions to educational excellence and impact in the Irvine community. HOI has worked with IPSF to support our health and wellness initiative, most notably providing funding and volunteer support for athletic trainers at each of the four comprehensive IUSD high schools.

Sunday, July 17, IPSF and Angels Baseball Foundation are teaming up for the 4th Annual Aces & Athletes Poker Tournament and charity casino night! This year's Rock 'n' Poker event will be held at Shady Canyon Golf Club and feature dinner, cocktails, great prizes and raffle items. In addition to hanging out with current and alumni professional athletes, guests will enjoy a memorable evening of casino games and a friendly poker tournament - no experience necessary!

ENDLESS SUMMER FUN AT NEW AUGUST CAMPS
If you are looking for additional enrichment opportunities this summer, IPSF has new one week camps for students in grades 1-8. Held from August 1- August 19, these weeklong August Camps will provide STEAM classes in LEGO Robotics at BrainStorm Studios; in addition to rocketry, filmmaking, and programming at select school sites.
There are still a few spots left in week one's LEGO Robotics Academy and First LEGO League Robotics, as well as week three's Movie Makers Camp. For more information and to register,

We are pleased to share that IPSF has awarded over $15,500 in scholarships with the support of our generous donors and partners. In addition the Dr. Kevin Armstrong Memorial Scholarship and Lee Bryn Brooks Community Service Scholarship, IPSF also presented the inaugural Student Athlete Scholarship in partnership with SoCal Elite, and the Rising Moon Scholarship on behalf of the Crescent Moon Foundation.
