Today IPSF kicks off its annual
Parents Appreciating Teachers And Staff (PATS) campaign! We invite you to show teachers, principals, nurses, and other IUSD office staff how much you and your child appreciate all they do and the impact they have made in your child's life!
Order a "PATS" and your teachers and staff will receive a certificate with your personal message and a small gift expressing your gratitude during National Teacher Appreciation Week in May.
Your "PATS" contribution is tax-deductible and goes directly back to the classroom through teacher grants as part of the
Innovative Teaching & Counseling Award Programs (ITAP/ICAP). IPSF has awarded OVER $1 million to teachers and counselors, benefiting over 100,000 students since the program's inception! Visit

The 2nd Annual
STEAM Carnival is coming up on
Saturday, April 30 at The Market Place, Edwards Theater Courtyard from 2:00-7:00 p.m.
A creative twist on the traditional carnival, families will enjoy a fun-filled day of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) activities and games!
Tickets for the STEAM Carnival go on sale online
March 7! Tickets are $4 online presale and $5 at the door. The first 350 attendees will also receive a limited edition tote bag.

SPIRIT OF COMMUNITY NOMINATIONS
IPSF and Irvine Unified Council PTA (IUCPTA) are now accepting nominations for their annual volunteerism awards that will be presented at the Spirit of Community Luncheon on May 20.

SUMMER ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS REGISTRATION
OPENS MARCH 14
|
Each year, IPSF offers summer enrichment classes for all incoming elementary and middle school students. A wide range of exciting classes in subjects including STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math), grade level prep, programming, language arts, performing arts, and sports will be offered, all taught by credentialed teachers and IPSF-approved vendors.
This year, IPSF will offer three flexible sessions for
Summer Enrichment Academy (SEA) in grades K-8. Session A will be held from June 20 - July 8 (3 week program), Session B from July 11 - July 29 (3 week program), and Session C from June 20 to July 15 (4 week program, grades 7-8 only).
One week August camps will be held from August 1- August 19, providing STEAM classes in LEGO Robotics and Scratch Programming at BrainStorm Studios, robotics, rocketry, filmmaking, programming and recreational activities at the Outdoor Education Center, and a Culinary Camp at Creekside High School's brand new, state of the art Culinary facility.
IPSF also offers high school academic camps in a variety of subjects such as math, public speaking, PSAT/SAT/ACT test preparation, performing arts, and Latin, which will be held from June 13 to July 22 at Northwood High School and Woodbridge High School.

Come enjoy an afternoon of free, family-friendly activities and performances by Irvine students on stage. The kids will love the Kids Zone featuring Pretend City, life-sized Jenga and Connect Four, balloon twisting, face painting and more. Cooking demos, yoga, food tasting, giveaways and live music will round out this exciting (and completely free!) community event. OC BLUES PARTNERS WITH IPSF
The Orange County Blues soccer team is offering IPSF supporters discounted tickets for their opening night game on Saturday, March 26. The OC Blues will take on the Vancouver Whitecaps FC2 at UC Irvine's Anteater Stadium at 7 p.m.
