IPSF TEACHER GRANTS CONTINUE TO ELEVATE INNOVATION IN THE CLASSROOM

IPSF is committed to supporting teachers and counselors across the district by awarding monetary grants to enhance the curriculum and improve the educational experience of students.

We are excited to share that one of the 2015  Innovative Teaching Award Program (iTAP) recipients, Meg Kelly of Santiago Hills Elementary, has implemented her Kick Start Innovation Program in her classroom, which incorporates creative play with Legos in order to better develop student's narrative writing skills. To learn more about Kelly's innovative curriculum check out her program update video.

We are proud to have the chance to provide teachers and counselors with opportunities to implement innovative programs into the classroom and look forward to seeing what this year's iTAP candidates will bring. The 2016 grants will be awarded at the annual iTAP awards reception on Thursday, March 24.

We want to thank all of the parents who donated to Parents Appreciating Teachers and Staff (PATS) last year. Your contributions to PATS directly fund IPSF grants for teachers and counselors. Look for this year's PATS campaign kicking off on March 1.
