Speak Up for  the Climate Bill on  Wednesday, March 14

Public Hearing - Environment Committee

After hard work from the CT Roundtable on Climate and Jobs and other allies, the Governor's Council on Climate Change recommended an ambitious reduction in emissions earlier this year.  Senate Bill 7, the Governor's Climate Bill, would establish that target as a legal mandate.  The bill would also strengthen the state's coastal resiliance planning. It would also require that Connecticut's energy plans align with the state's climate goals.

Two ways you can speak up this week:
  1. Attend the Environment Committee's public hearing on Wednesday, March 14, and/or
  2. Submit written testimony.
Working with allies, the CT Roundtable on Climate and Jobs has compiled  these detailed instructions, background resources and template testimony.
