APPLY FOR TRAVEL GRANTS

There are a variety of travel grants available to ISA 2018 attendees. Apply now!

ISA 2018 is pleased to provide the opportunity for young investigators working in the field of atherosclerosis to present their research. The awards will be given to successful applicants with the top abstract scores who meet these criteria.

IAS Travel Grant:
These grants are designed to give investigators from developing countries working in the field of atherosclerosis the opportunity to present their research at the premier international meeting atherosclerosis.  See if you quality .

Regional Travel Grant:
The Asia-Pacific Federation of the International Atherosclerosis Society will provide travel grants for early career investigators from institutes in the Asia-Pacific region, who will attend and deliver presentations at ISA 2018. Abstracts will be reviewed and ten outstanding early career investigators (maximum of two persons from each country) will be selected and provided a travel grant of USD $1,500.00 each. THE FIVE SCIENTIFIC TRACKS OF ISA 2018

ISA 2018 will be focused on the following five scientific tracks.

  • Dyslipidemia: Lipids, lipoproteins and apolipoproteins
  • Pathogenesis: endothelium, macrophages, smooth muscle cells, thrombosis, inflammation, immunity, microbiome
  • Epidemiology: Risk factors, add obesity and diabetes, population health, vulnerable communities, children and adolescents
  • Prevention: Lifestyle measures and pharmacological intervention
  • Therapeutics: Pharmacologic intervention, new treatment modalities, late breaking clinical trials
