Contact us at [email protected] or go to our website at www.cincinnatiislamiccenter.org to schedule a guided tour or speaker.  Here is one feedback along with a tour request out of hundreds we have received about the experience...

"This experience with ICGC will be lasting for all of us. We are so appreciative of what you, Shakila, led to happen decades ago for non-Muslims to understand about Islam in America.  Now we from Holy T carry a very new appreciation for Islam and understanding what are the values of Muslims so similar to those values of us who choose to be Christians.  Surely, it has changed our lives as we see ourselves living together with Muslims in America.  We are most grateful to you, Shakila, Huma, Zeinab, and Nadia."

Interfaith Volunteer Opportunity
Saturday, May 7

Random Acts of Simple Kindness Affecting Local Seniors (RASKALS) began in the fall of 1996 in West Chester when eleven-year-old Emily Weber sent a letter to the township administrator searching for a project that would help her community.

That initial desire evolved into what has become a twice-a-year event: the first Saturday in May for spring cleanup and the first Saturday in November for fall cleanup.  The purpose of the RASKALS project is to help our older adults through random acts of kindness.  Chores include:  Raking leaves,  Cleaning windows,  Picking up twigs and sticks,  Washing first floor windows,  Sweeping sidewalks, and  Trimming bushes and shrubs

In The News
Every community has a narra tive.  Either that community controls the narrative or the narrative cont rols the community.   Now more than ever the American Muslim community has to take control of the narrative. This can only be achieved if as a community we are building bridges and inroads with media.  Media outlets want to cover stories and do pieces that people are interested in. They want viewers, readers, comments, and discussions.  It is critical that as a community we are more visible and more vocal in the media.

We have been blessed for wide and positive coverage of the Center.  When there is positive coverage we must all give feedback and acknowledge and appreciate the work of the media. Please take a few minutes to review the media links and give positive feedback where you feel comfortable.
