Add your voice to the mix. This is an interactive - and very participatory - webinar.  Scheduled just a week before the ISSP Conference 2011, to be held September 22-23 in Portland, OR, this webinar will offer those unable to join us at the conference a place to weigh in on certain key issues relating to how the Lexicon Project is framed.  We want to hear your thoughts and will summarize them as part of the Lexicon discussion at the conference.

OCTOBER WORKSHOP

Sustaining Sustainability

Organizational Assessments & Systems

Explore with ISSP co-founder and instructor Dorothy Atwood how to maintain your organization's sustainability plan or move your ad hoc projects to an integrated program with a sustainability management system (SMS).  This course will walk you through the creation of such a system to fit your needs using the Plan-Do-Check-Act framework.

If you are curious about any of these, then this course is for you:

  •  How do we go from a sustainability plan to a living sustainability system that is part of our core business?
  • How do we assess where we are and set priorities?
  • How often should we review goals, projects and the program as a whole?
  • How many people should be involved?
  • Do we have training, communication, and support systems in place for our program?
  • How can we keep the program alive if a key champion leaves?

This virtual course meets on-line for live webinars Mondays (October 3, 10, 17, 24) at 10:00AM Pacific Time-USA for 60-90 minutes WITH 24/7 virtual access to your Discussion Forum, readings and assignments at the ISSP Learning Center.
