Stay Protected
Computer security is an issue that everyone faces.

How do I keep from falling victim to a phishing scam?
  • DO NOT respond to these email types, click any links or attachments, or provide any personal information. Delete the email message from your Inbox and then permanently remove it from your Deleted Items folder.
  • DO NOT share with anyone your account information and/or passwords. This can lead to fraudulent account access and identity theft. Learn more...
  • DO NOT visit untrusted websites. This will reduce your computer's chances of infection with malware.
  • DO NOT provide callers with any information regarding computers, printers, or accounts.
Everyone is responsible to ensure that we keep our institution's and personal data secure.

Stay vigilant and take key steps to help safeguard personal information and the institution's data. Phishing messages try to disguise themselves as authentic emails by spoofing you with "From" addresses of people you know or are known companies. They will attempt to convince you to divulge personal or sensitive information such as Social Security number, credit card numbers, or  accounts and passwords.
