Dr. Robin Valentine
An IVAS member, Robin C. Valentine VMD, 40, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2015 at the Boca Raton Regional Hospital after a short illness. An accomplished equestrian, she rode competitively in major events including the Nation's Cup in Paris as part of the MHC team. In 2002, she earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery from the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Veterinary Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Robin's interests and scope in medicine were extensive, encompassing both modern medical science and integrative, holistic approaches including acupuncture. She established Valentine Veterinary Medical Services specializing in house calls, emergencies and surgery. Robin was a passionate advocate for abandoned and injured animals, always willing to take on a tough case. Robin touched the lives of all who knew her with her smile, kindness, compassion, dedication, strong will, determination, mighty spirit, and sense of humor.
